About the event
This annual event pivoted to the virtual platform in 2020 during the COVID-19 Pandemic after many years of heading to Harrisburg to educate and inform our legislators on the realities of living with sickle cell disease (SCD). We hope that next year, we will be able to come back together in person for our Press Conference in the Main Rotunda and lunch with the Pennsylvania Legislative Black Caucus. This year is a 2 hour event where we will discuss the need to address health disparities, access to quality care and community based services, and increased funding to ensure that families regardless of where they live in the 67 counties across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania that they have what they need to continue Living Well with Sickle Cell until there is a universal CURE for SCD. Hear directly from patients, families, medical providers and more! Register today!
